Prison Ministry Announces Tri-Fold Partnership

The Reverend Anthony Kelley,   former Pastor of Mount Zion First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge and Organizer and Pastor of the Greater First Church-Baptist in Baker, Louisiana, attended the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Annual Legislative Conference and Legislative and Issues Week held in Washington, D.C. on September 22-25, 2009 at the invitation and sponsorship of the National Alliance of Faith and Justice (NAFJ)...



The paradigm that was created to build capacity in order to engage faith and community-based organizations in prison ministry and criminal justice issues and reform is called the National Civic and Public Policy Partnership Engagement Strategy. This Three-fold partnership includes the NBC Prison Ministry and Criminal Justice Commission, National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice, and the National Alliance of Faith and Justice. Reverend Kelley is the designated point of contact for interested faith and community-based organizations who desire to engage in this collaborative effort in the state of Louisiana.
